Sea Lions

Growing up in Connecticut, one of my favorite activities was going to the Mystic Aquarium for their animal show of dolphins, seals and sea lions. As I have no pictures of the show, though dozens from the aquarium, I think they must not have (though the rules may have since changed) allowed photos of the performances.

Going to Fisherman's Wharf for the paper takes me back as there are so many sea lions hanging about. Lots just lounge, but often, they seem to fight, like these on the right.


They also seem to show a lot of emotion. The ones hugging, as best as you can without arms, are just way too cute.


Though they don't do tricks as those in Mystic did, these guys are just great, and I always make sure to visit them when in the area.
